The Indianapolis Professional Association (“IPA”) will sponsor its exciting 2021 FALL NETWORKING EVENT on Friday, October 22, 2021, from 6:00 pm till 9 pm at The District Tap, 3720 East 82nd Street in Clearwater Crossing.

The 2021 timely program theme for this year’s community-wide event is “EXPLORING DISPARITIES WITH LOCAL INITIATIVES TO OBTAIN RACIAL EQUITY AND EMPOWERMENT”.

>Virtual Silent Auction

We hosted our annual Awards and Youth Empowerment program this summer.

Our virtual silent auction in support of the Achievement Awards and Youth Empowerment book awards is underway now and will continue through 5 pm on June 30th. The money raised in the virtual silent auction will be used to fund book awards for our honorees. Please support a young person by visiting https://app.galabid.com/ipa and putting in a bid on these significant items:

Item #1 - Autographed copies of ten (10) videos donated by award-winning director, Stanley Nelson.  He has gained notoriety for his documentaries chronicling such topics as Marcus Garvey, the Black Panthers, Freedom Riders, and the legendary Miles Davis.  Bids start at $120.00.

Item #2 - A’Lelia Bundles, great-great-granddaughter of Madam C.J. Walker, will join you and up to ten of your guests for a 45-minute Zoom chat where she will share vintage artifacts from her family’s extraordinary history and share insights into the legacy of America’s first female self-made millionaire.  Autographed copies of A’Lelia’s books are also included.
